Getting started

What does DMARC Viewer actually do?

It watches how the world's mail servers treat email sent from your domain, and tells you — in plain language — whether someone could spoof your address, whether your genuine mail is landing, and where problems come from. You do not need to know what DMARC means to use it.

Do I need to be technical?

No. Every result is shown as a plain verdict first, with a short explanation, and only then the raw technical detail if you want to dig in. The free domain check on the front page gives you a complete, honest read with nothing hidden behind a paywall.

How do I start monitoring a domain?

Create an account, add your domain, and publish the small DNS record we generate for you. From then on we collect the reports mail providers send back and turn them into a dashboard you can read at a glance.

Understanding your results

What are SPF, DKIM and DMARC, in one line each?

SPF lists which servers may send mail for your domain. DKIM adds a tamper-proof signature to each message. DMARC ties the two together and tells receivers what to do when mail fails the checks — and asks them to report back.

My domain check shows a warning — is that urgent?

Not necessarily. Findings are split by severity and grouped around three real worries: someone impersonating you, your own mail not being delivered, and gaps in your visibility. Red items are worth acting on soon; informational notes are just context.

Why am I not receiving any DMARC reports?

Reports are generated by the mail servers that receive your messages, not by your own provider. Large receivers such as Google, Microsoft and Yahoo send them; some hosting providers never generate them at all. If your recipients are mostly on providers that do not report, you will simply see fewer reports — this is normal and not a fault on your side.

Account & email

My confirmation email hasn't arrived. What now?

Give it a few minutes — mail can be briefly delayed by the receiving provider before it lands. Check your spam or junk folder as well. If it still hasn't appeared, request a fresh link from the sign-in page. Password-reset and confirmation emails are sent the same way, so if one reaches you the other will too.

Which plan is right for me?

Every new account starts with a 14-day Starter trial, no card required. The free domain checker stays free forever. When you're ready, the paid tiers add more domains, longer history and monitoring options — see pricing for the current line-up.

Privacy

What do you do with my data?

We process the aggregate reports needed to show your results and nothing more. We never claim mailbox or provider facts we can't establish from the data. See our terms and cookie policy for the full picture.
